Hyderabad-based philanthropist Sudha Reddy represented India at Met Gala 2021 and made her red carpet debut at the grand event in the fashion world.
She showcased Indian craftmanship on the red carpet by wearing a gown designed by none other than the incredible Indian duo Falguni and Shane Peacock, which was inspired by the colors of the American flag. It reflected the 2021 theme – ‘American Independence.’
This year’s Met Gala theme celebrated American designers, as well as the cultural, political, and social events that have occurred during the pandemic.
She also shared various Instagram stories walking her fans through the entire process of her turning into a beauty. She shared a video captioning ‘It takes an army’, where she can be seen getting dressed with the help of a makeup person and stylists.
A couple of hours before she walked the red carpet, she shared a small glimpse of her outfit on Instagram and captioned the video as, ” Sneak peek. Can’t wait to share this masterpiece of Indian craftsmanship with the world.”
Sudha Reddy is the wife of billionaire Megha Krishna Reddy. She was the only Indian personality to attend this year’s, Met Gala.
In the past, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Natasha Poonawalla, and Isha Ambani too had walked the Met Gala red carpet.
