Poonam Pandey’s husband Sam Bombay was granted bail in the alleged assault case by the Goa court on Wednesday. Sam, who is a film producer and director and was in Goa with his wife Poonam was arrested by Goa police for allegedly molesting and threatening actor model Poonam Pandey. 

According to the report published in Goa Prism, Sam Bombay was arrested by police in south Goa after his wife, the model, actress, Poonam Pandey in Canacona police station where she was shooting for her forthcoming film. 

Actor-model Pandey, in a formal written complaint to the Cancaona police station last night, alleged that her husband, Sam Bombay, molested, threatened her with dire consequences, and assaulted her. 

The Canacona police inspector Tukaram Chawan confirmed that the actress had made a formal complaint last night and based on that the police have arrested Sam.

According to the reports, The couple had recently got married earlier this month and were reportedly on their honeymoon in Goa.  

Judicial magistrate first class Shanoor Audi granted bail to Sam on Tuesday evening on a surety of Rs 20,000, an official said.

Sam has been asked by the magistrate to report to Canacona police station for four days starting Wednesday and also not to interfere with witnesses.
