Since the end of the season 1 almost two years back the Mirzapur Fans are waiting for the season two. As stated by Vijay Raaz in the promo video that went viral on the social media “Duniya mein do tarah ke fan hote hain. Ek, sirf fan, jo kisi ke bhi hote hai. Aur, ek jo Mirzapur ke hote hain,”
“Mirzapur ke fans sirf taaliyaan nahi pitate hain, woh aisa bhaukaal machaate hai, jiski awaaz sirf kaano mein nahi padti, rago mein utarti hai. Mirzapur ek naam nahi, junoon hai,”
“Aab Intazar Hoga Khatam” Shweta Tripathi, who plays Golu on the show, wrote, “Thank you, thank you, thank YOU for all the love!! Jitna intezaar aapko hai, hum sabko bhi! Bas..ab jald milengey (sic).”
Coming back to the cast of Mirzapur 2 Ali Fazal who survived the attack will continue in the game along with, Harshita Gaur, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi and Divyendu Sharma, among others, they have recently dubbed for the show after the lockdown. While, actors Shweta, Rasika and Divyendu dubbed in a studio in Mumbai, Ali initially dubbed for the show at home and later joined the team in Mumbai.
