In our country where the age gap in the relationships is still considered as a taboo, the young at heart, and the heartthrob of millions, model and actor, Milind Soman decided to tie knot with the girl who is almost three times younger to him, and this lead to creating ripples on the social media which is considered to be the meeting ground for all.

In spite of our busy schedules, we still make time to peep into other’s lives, no matter whether they are our neighbours or some relative, so how can anyone miss the big town celebrity talks especially when it comes to India’s best-known male supermodel of the 90s, and a fitness freak, whose love for sports, especially marathon made him win the title of the ‘iron man’, Milind Soman.

So you all must be wondering why is he in controversy today? It is because Soman is very open about his relationship from the very start, and his and Ankita Konwar’s relationship was revealed a few months ago when the actor made his relationship public by posting pictures with her on his Instagram. So what makes it big news is the age difference between these two lovebirds, where a report suggested that Konwar is 18 years old, while some say that she won’t be more than 23 years old while our handsome hunk has turned 52 on November 4.

But the controversy started taking trolls when Soman posted a ‘Thank you’ note which consisted a photo of both of them, to the response of the wishes he had received from all over the world. While the photos on Instagram and Twitter shows that this fitness freak is deeply in love with this girl who is rumoured to be planning to tie the knot. On the other hand, people’s perception of their this plan doesn’t seem to be good and the only reason given is the age gap.

When asked to Milind about the age gap between his and Konwar, he said “A relationship, is about the two people. And I don’t consider age at all for anything – whether it’s relationships, fitness or health or whatever,”.

So the bottom line, is it so bad to date a girl or woman who you are really in love with, just because she is too young or too old to you? Does this show us how democratic our country is or how democratic we are? Or do our morality depends on this?
