It is shocking and unbelievable, but true, America had finally filed a lawsuit of 20 trillion US Dollars against the Chinese government for allegedly developing and spreading the coronavirus from their lab. According to the American advocacy group, the virus was developed to work as a biological weapon by the Chinese government, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, located in Wuhan, China where the coronavirus outbreak originated.
According to the IANS report, Freedom Watch, a Washington-based advocacy group, and Buzz Photos, a Texas company that specializes in high school sports photography, have filed a class-action lawsuit against the Chinese government demanding $20 trillion in compensation for the damages caused by the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic.
In the lawsuit, the petitioners have allegedly accused the Chinese government of developing coronavirus as ‘an illegal biological weapon’ and for releasing the same “by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, located in Wuhan, China, where the coronavirus outbreak originated,” the report stated.
“Although it appears that the COVID-19 virus was released at an unplanned, unexpected time, it was prepared and stockpiled as a biological weapon to be used against China”s perceived enemies, including but not limited to the people of the US,” the report quotes the complaint as saying.
The US has a very large number of cases of the coronavirus. It may be recalled that on March 23, US President Donald Trump said he is ‘a little upset’ with China over its late sharing of information on the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus and refusing to accept a visit by American medical experts to the country ‘out of pride’.
The lawsuit, filed on behalf of conservative lawyer Larry Klayman, sought compensation from the Chinese government due to its “callous and reckless indifference and malicious acts”. The Chinese people, the report quotes him as saying, “are good people, but their government is not and it must be made to pay dearly”.
Buzz Photos said in the lawsuit that it lost around $50,000 last weekend due to school closures and sports cancellations and has been forced to lay off workers.
The dispute between America and China is growing following the coronavirus outbreak. There is verbal combat going on between them for quite some time but now due to Coronavirus that seems to have become even more serious. America even considering this as a violation of the interactional law and peace treaty amongst the nations.
The lawsuit claims that China has given permission to make such kind of biological weapon. America alleged that the whole purpose of making a virus in the Chinese lab was to use it as a Biological Weapon against superpower countries like America. “There is no doubt that the world us paying a huge price for the deeds of China,” said Donald Trump while addressing from the White House.
Whatever may be the reason behind this but one thing is sure that the whole world is going to pay the price for the differences between two superpowers on the planet. The lawsuit will go on until the undisclosed amount of time but meanwhile, coronavirus is not going to stop and no doubt that only China is responsible for the same.
