Another attempt of rape on the 23-Year-Old came into the light in and this time also the accused tried to burn her alive just because she resisted his attempt to rape her. The victim was burnt more than 50 per cent in this incident.
According to the report, A 23-Year-old woman was allegedly set on fire by a neighbour after she resisted his attempt to rape her, a police officer said here on Monday.
According to the complaint, the woman was alone at home on Saturday, when the accused, who lived close by, sneaked into her house and tried to rape her.
This incident took place a Muzaffarnagar, A 23-year-old victim, who suffered 50 per cent burns in the incident, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in the Muzaffarpur town, informed the police officer.
The Ahiyapur police managed to nab the accused following the complaint lodged by the mother of a victim, informed the SHO (Station Head Officer) Mr Vikas Rai.
According to the complaint, the woman was alone at home on Saturday, when the accused, who lived close by, sneaked into her house and tried to rape her.
The report further said that when the incident took place the mother of the victim was attending her work at the Primary Health Centre. “Soon after receiving the information she rushed to the home and took her half-burnt daughter to the hospital.
This heinous incident took place just after one week of the recent rape and murder case of a 26-Year-Old Dr Priyanka who was raped and burnt alive by her rapists who were then shot dead in an encounter by the Hyderabad police.
This does not end here, in yet another shocking incident the body of an eight-year-old girl was found on Friday – stuffed in a bag and dumped in an orchard after suspected sexual assault. This incident took place in the same Ahiyapur Police Station area.
